Educational Qualification
The candidate should have passed 10+2 with math and physics from recognized central/ state government board with minimum 50% aggregate marks. (In case of SC/ ST, 5% relaxation will be given)
Physical Fitness Test
The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will be conducted for all candidate who qualify the written test.
- 1.6 KM running in 7 Minutes
- 20 Squats Ups (Uttak Baithak)
- 10 Push Up
Medical Standards
The medical examination will be conducted by authorised Military Doctors as per the medical standards
- Height – Minimum Height should be 157 CM. Reduction in height for candidate from hilly areas and tribal areas.
- Chest – should be proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
- Weight – Proportionate to height and Age +- 10 Percentage acceptable.

The candidate born between 01st August 1998 to 31 July 2002 (Both date inclusive)

How to Apply Online
The online application procedure is given –
- First of all, keep all your required document at the time of online application filling form.
- Now visit official website – https://www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in/ (Direct Apply Link is given below in the important link section)
- The online application form will be accepted from 26th January to 02nd February 2020.
- Click on “Opportunity” button.
- Fill up the details as per 10th Class Certificate.
- Email ID and Mobile number are compulsory.
- The candidate need to choose one exam centre for examination.
- After filling up the online form completely, you will have to upload the all required the document.
- Finally click on submit button,
- On successful of the online application, a unique registration/ application number will be provided to the candidate.
- Through this unique number, candidate will be able to download their admit card online.
- Candidate are required to bring 03 copies of system generated e-admit card with latest color photograph, all original required document and photocopies of all relevant document.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure will given below –
- The written examination will be conducted. The question will be asked from Maths, Physics, Basic Chemistry, Knowledge of English upto 12th Standard, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning etc.
- Those who will qualify the written examination will be called for physical fitness test, medical examination and document verification.
